Police hunt ninja women who robbed a gas station

I’d advise the police to be cautious as it is established fact that

1. Ninjas are mammals.

2. Ninjas fight ALL the time.

3. The purpose of the ninja is to flip out and kill people.

That they haven’t yet flipped out is a sure sign that they are probably on the verge of doing so.

Vermonster

It’s a nice hot, sunny day today and I’m really not in the mood to work at the cinema. Instead I’d like to dig into a Vermonster whilst playing the Scrabulous Facebook app against my friends.

Sole survivor sitting on a $5b fortune

Jeffrey Lee is not interested in the soaring price of uranium, which could make him one of the world’s richest men.

“This is my country. Look, it’s beautiful and I fear somebody will disturb it,” he says, waving his arm across a view of rocky land surrounded by Kakadu National Park, where the French energy giant Areva wants to extract 14,000 tonnes of uranium worth more than $5 billion.

This is pretty cool that he values the beauty of the land over the wealth that land could produce for him.

Crop Circle at Oliver’s Castle, Nr Devizes

I was visiting Roundway Hill which is near my home today to take photos and was surprised to see far more people there than usual.

Apparently there is a very impressive crop circle on Oliver’s Castle that everyone but me knew all about. Not so impressive from the ground it is quite amazing from above.

I recently discovered that my home town of Devizes was the site of the first commercial telephone system, made and used by an Alfred Cunnington in 1878 to connect his business with his home.

1/3 Scale model of a Ferrari

Pierre Scerri of Avignon, France took 15 years and more than 20,000 hours to build this 1:3 scale Ferrari 312PB.

This marvel is the real thing in every sense, from its operating 12-cylinder engine to the exact scale operating Ferrari gauges which are calibrated precisely to indicate rpm, oil pressure, water temperature and oil temperature.
