Lyra – 1 week old
Lyra is now a week old (actually 8 days old at the time of writing). We intend on chronicling her first year in weekly photographs like this in front of the chalkboard I created to block up the old fireplace in our sitting room.
We’ve had all our family visiting this week, all laden with gifts for the new arrival, Lyra is a very lucky girl to have such amazing people in her life. Also as the first grandchild on both sides of the family I think she is going to get spoiled with tons of attention from her grandparents.

First full day at home with our daughter Lyra.
Introducing Lyra Josephine! Born Thursday 17th April at 9.20pm after a very long week. She weighs 8lbs 9oz and we are ever so in love with her! We’re still at the hospital at the moment, but hopefully should be going home soon.
