I got attacked by a dog today.

I was walking into town to the post office when I saw quite a way in front of me on the pavement the ugliest woman I've ever seen (well perhaps not ever but she was quite ugly). She was feeding a large black dog biscuits from out of a box she had in the plastic carrier bag she held.

There she was just standing feeding this dog biscuit after biscuit. As I drew close to them the dog snarled and as I passed by the dog leapt at me and bit me on the arm and then leapt and bit again. Luckily the leather jacket I was wearing protected me.

Out of shock I just carried on walking by and didn't even look round at them. The woman didn't apologise, I think she was a witch and the dog was a hellhound.

The more I think about it the more I feel that she was evil personified. It is perhaps an omen of disaster.
